Pregnancy, Birth and Parenting during Postpartum require a lot from you. Strengthening and exercise during pregnancy helps you meet the unique stresses and demands your body will experience during labor AND postpartum. Giving yourself individualized focus during postpartum to reaquaint yourself with the new you is also very important. ACOG (American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology) recognizes the benefits of exercise for you and baby. In this private session we assess what stage of pregnancy or postpartum you are in and what your unique experiences have been and what hopes and goals you may have. The exercises we will explore have a whole -body, holistic focus that address core stability and strength through the lens of daily tasks you need to do and activities you enjoy doing or want to return to. We take into consideration diastasis, the pelvic floor, preparing for or healing from birth, and caring for your body while also taking care of baby. Encourage a stronger, more comfortable pregnancy, smoother birth and steadier, thriving postpartum experience. You will receive an intake form before your first session and must be cleared for exercise. If making a postpartum appointment - please be in touch if you are interested in meeting before you are 6 weeks postpartum.
