6- Week Series - Sundays - 9 - 10 am Feb. 23, March 2, 9, 16, 23 & 30 - In-Person or Via Zoom (Note: March 9th class is Zoom Only) Cost, payment and location info. at the bottom. ** If you are only taking part in the Emerge & Blossom Pregnancy, Birth & Beyond Weekend - please select the March 23rd date when you book this class** Come enjoy this holistic prenatal fitness class series - where you will not only build physical strength to help yourself feel better during pregnancy, but you'll help your body be ready to meet the wild work of birth (vaginal or cesarean birth). There will be a whole body focus on gentle strengthening, building posture awareness while exercising and how to take that into your daily life and some light/moderate cardio. Class is tailored not only to what stage of pregnancy you are in , but takes you as an individual into consideration. Care is taken to mindfully exercise based on what you may be experiencing in your body as you move through each month. Please be in touch if there is any question you have about when to begin. In general, if your care provider has cleared you for regular exercise - come on over! Be in touch if there's something specific going on and you aren't sure if this class is the best option for you. The Prenatal Movement/Yoga class is a mindful movement class where we focus on releasing tension and stress, flooding your body & bathing your baby in feel good hormones. Connect with baby, enjoy gentle, rhythmic movements and positions that hep your body feel good during pregnancy and can be used during the labor process. It's a mindful movement class - where you are deeply nurtured through gentle yoga and somatic (body awareness) movement. Breath and pelvic floor awareness is also incorporated in this class. This is a great addition to the Prenatal Strength Series.
