6- week series: De-Stress & Re-Group Somatic Movement & Yoga Mondays 4:15 - 5:15pm March 3 - April 7 $102 for the series - Sliding scale available typically $72 - $102 15 State St. - 3rd Floor - Suite #303 - Elevator Access Available Attending via Zoom is also an option. Explore movement to unlock tension patterns and learn helpful skills to navigate life. Conscious movement matters, understanding ourselves and our nervous system responses matters, learning to Do Less with More Intention matters. Movement explorations are based in Thomas Hanna Somatics (which has its root in Feldenkrais) and weaves in other therapeutic movement modalities as well. We will also have some parts of each class welcome more vigorous movement, as and if desired, to meet all the ways your body may want to release stress and re-group itself. We will explore some movement on the floor to experiment with new movement patterns outside of our regular, vertical experience with gravity. Sitting and standing explorations will be offered as well. This class is created with individuality in mind. Movement will be guided and making the movements your own is encouraged.
