Core is about so much more than your abs. Whether your birth was 8 weeks ago or 20 years ago, having been pregnant and experienced vaginal or cesarean birth is a wild ride for your body. Whether you have pain, feel disconnected and wobbly, want to know what exercises are ok to do when, or are just curious and want to learn more, this class is for you. What you learn: - simple breathing tips to relax and strengthen and how to fit this into daily life. - ways to build strength and stability incrementally - how to turn every day movements into stabilizing and strengthening activities (so you don't need to find time for an exercise routine on your own). - the breath, pelvic floor & core connection - why posture matters: reconnecting your ribcage and pelvis - how and why our daily use patterns matter (because many of them aren't helping us). - things to be aware of about internal pressure and prolapse - tips for leaking, scar tissue, pelvic pain - Connection to our core is more than just physical - it's about emotional and mental wellbeing too
